Overview
For Morgan's Pier, Groundswell was given six weeks to create a unique waterfront space on an abandoned pier on the Delaware River.
We used typical urban materials like welded box wire and salvaged wood to lend a roughness to classic beer garden elements like picnic tables, vintage umbrellas, and market lights. Lush planters and leafy Linden trees shade visitors and frame spectacular views of the Delaware River and the soaring Benjamin Franklin Bridge. In such a setting, visitors are free to revel or relax, enjoying all that Morgan's Pier and the waterfront have to offer.
