A healing garden design for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Overview
Groundswell partnered with the Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania (CHOP) to create a unique garden space for CHOP's Karabots Pediatric Care Center.
The labyrinth style healing garden grows fruits and vegetables for the local community and CHOP facilities, and also features programming coordinated by The Enterprise Center to engage patients in the garden as a part of their healing process. With the support of the Credit Union National Association and the 2016 Democratic National Convention, the garden had its grand opening in the Summer of 2016.
