Groundswell partnered with Rockpoint Group to design an elevated, modern food hall within the indoor atrium connecting 160 Federal Street and 100 High Street in Boston’s Financial District. High Street Place seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor elements, featuring a stunning green wall as a centerpiece and a retractable wall system that transforms the space into an open-air dining and patio experience during warmer months. Designed to inspire exploration, the food hall offers six entrances and a layout of winding paths that encourage guests to discover a variety of menu offerings while selecting the ambiance that matches their mood. Each food vendor has uniquely customized their stall to reflect their personality and culinary vision. Paying homage to the building’s original Art Deco design, the space incorporates brushed brass sconces, custom stonework, and marble accents, complemented by leather banquettes, community tables, and bar-style seating. High Street Place also accommodates private events and pop-up vendors, creating a vibrant and versatile gathering space.
